UNS Plant Food Max is a nutrient-rich liquid fertiliser for planted aquariums. The specially developed formula supplies aquatic plants with all essential macro- and micronutrients required for healthy growth and strong colours. It provides reliable nourishment especially in established, heavily planted aquariums or aquascapes with nutrient-demanding plant species and supports lush plant growth.

The balanced combination of nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, and important trace elements helps aquarium plants prevent nutrient deficiencies and maintain stable development. Plant Food Max is particularly suitable for densely planted aquariums with strong lighting and demanding plant species, for example in heavily planted aquascapes or Dutch-style aquariums.

When used correctly, the fertiliser is safe for most freshwater fish and shrimp. However, overdosing or use in aquariums with an existing algae problem may encourage algae growth. Plant Food Max is therefore recommended primarily for established aquariums in which the plants are already well rooted and have an increased nutrient demand.

If stored at low temperatures, crystallisation may occur due to the high concentration. For this reason, the fertiliser may already have a solid sediment on the bottom when it arrives. This does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the product. The sediment will dissolve again after being left at room temperature for a while and shaken vigorously.

Recommended dosage: 1 pump per 20 litres of aquarium water every other day, combined with a regular weekly water change of at least 30%. The dosage can be adjusted depending on plant mass, light intensity, and nutrient demand.
