Product Description

Asian Flame moss got its name from its form of growth. Tight, vertical growing and light undulating shoots give the impression of a deep green camp fire, 5-15cm high. The very special form makes Flame moss extremely suitable for horizontal surfaces and it only spreads slowly horizontally. A lovely result is achieved by binding the moss to small stones or in small bundles on tree roots.

Stunning moss!

Grows straight upwards.

Excellent Moss!

As always an excellent product from Aquarium gardens, its a beautiful looking moss. I can't wait until it covers the rocks and wood. Depending on how much surface you are wanting to cover you may want to order more than one. I ordered two pots to cover two small stones (about the size of the pots the moss comes in), and a small amount on some spindly wood, this seemed to be just the right amount. Delivery was very Fast, I ordered on a Monday morning and it arrived on the Tuesday morning using the standard delivery option. Very pleased, would definitely buy again.

It looks great at the front attached to a little stone. It has turned darker in the last couple of weeks, but has not grown much. Kept its shape though and stayed attached to the stone so still very pleased with how it looks.

  • Quick service, fantastic plants

    I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected! They arrived in absolutely fantastic condition as if I had picked them out myself, well packaged. The plants themselves were bigger than what I expected to get so definitely value for money and the root systems were well established, can't wait to see them get bigger in my aquariums. Will definitely buy from this company again.
