Substantial piece of kit. Allows really fine control

Wasn’t sure whether to go for this, the CO2 Art Regulator Pro-SE, or chance it with something cheap from AliExpress/eBay etc.

Called AG and had a good, honest chat about the pros/cons.

I can see why AG say it’s ‘Our favourite regulator’ and have zero regrets about the outlay.

This thing’s substantial. Nothing about it’s light or cheap feeling. Wouldn’t want to drop it on my foot!

Can’t find any leaks with soapy water. Fine control over BPM is easy.

Solenoid switches on with a reassuring ‘snap’, and stops flow fully when off.

It has a USB plug, but the mains adapter’s 12v 1A (so you can’t use any old USB charger). 12v adapter has an EU style plug, but it’s shipped with a neat little EU/UK adapter.

Nicely packaged in its box, and well packed with other items by AG. Arrived next day.

2 (insignificant) silly things:

The direction label for off/low/high on the regulator knob seems the wrong way round. It could do with a mark on the casing at 9 o’clock, then it’d make sense.

Don’t let the glaring spelling mistake on the front of the manual put you off-it’s contents do make sense.

I don't often leave reviews, but this product and AGs service deserve it.

    I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected!
