Tissue Culture plants are Snail, Pest & Algae free guaranteed! If you're willing to let us choose the plants for you AND you want to make some savings too then why not try one of our mixed boxes of tissue culture plants? Great for planted out new tanks, or adding additional plants to an existing tank.  Maybe you're planning a shrimp tank? These plants are perfect for shrimp tanks as tissue culture plants are totally safe for shrimp.

All plants are chosen from our Tropica 1-2 Grow! and Aqvainnova range of tissue culture plants.

The choice is down to us, but we will always try our best to include a mixture of foreground, midground and background plants in the collection. Each pot is 60mm in diameter and it's packed full of healthy plants.

If you require specific species then you will need to buy these separately.

How to plant your tissue culture plants:
  1. Remove plant from packaging
  2. Rinse and wash away any gel/liquid
  3. Divide plant into 6-8 portions
  4. Plant directly into your substrate
All tissue culture plants are free from snails, algae and pesticides. The cups can be kept for a relatively long time before planting (sometimes weeks) meaning you can plant when you are ready. Keep in a cool place, sub 20 degrees and out of direct sunlight. Tissue culture plants are young plants with strong roots and are in much better health than their potted versions. Only open cups before planting to avoid contamination. CO2 and good fertilization will promote healthy growth.
