Product Description

Limnophila sessiliflora is a good and undemanding plant from South-East Asia which is a good alternative to Cabomba, which demands a lot of light. Stems grows fast up to 40 cm long and becomes 3-4 cm wide. The plant often grows leggy in poor light, but this can be counteracted to some extent by stimulating growth by CO2 addition. Most beautiful when planted in groups. In good growing conditions it sends out runners and spreads across the bottom. Limnophila sessiliflora used to be called "Ambulia''.

Limnophila sessiliflora

This plant is a very fast grower, I planted in a non CO2 tank and it doubled in size in just under two weeks. Looks very good in my nano tank

Received in excellent health as part of a six plant order. Generous number of stems, which are doing very well in my tank. Simply cannot recommend Aquarium Gardens enough.

Excellent plant growing really well in a corner at the back which hides my internal filter , would likea bit of advice about trimming it to keep it bushy and not to leggy , Thanks for lovely plants all in great condition would use again as the service was brill .

  • Quick service, fantastic plants

    I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected! They arrived in absolutely fantastic condition as if I had picked them out myself, well packaged. The plants themselves were bigger than what I expected to get so definitely value for money and the root systems were well established, can't wait to see them get bigger in my aquariums.
