Product Description

Lilaeopsis Mauritius, AKA Micro Sword Narrow Leaf, is a rare plant in the hobby, less common and often hard to find. Works best as a carpet plant and has a wonderful grass like nature, when under optimum conditions it cancreate stunning aquascapes.Plant height and density demand on light, more light results in a lower & more dense carpet. Under high light you will also need to inject lots of CO2 for it to do well. Leaves grow to a height of 2-4cm under good light.

When planting, plant in clumps 2-3cm apart and over time it will form a carpet. Alternatively you could plant clumps inbetween rocks. Regular pruning encourages growth and a more healthy carpet.

  • Quick service, fantastic plants

    I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected! They arrived in absolutely fantastic condition as if I had picked them out myself, well packaged. The plants themselves were bigger than what I expected to get so definitely value for money and the root systems were well established, can't wait to see them get bigger in my aquariums.
