Product Description

Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is normally an undemanding plant. But if you want deep-pink leaves you must provide intensive light. Stems becomes 20-40 cm tall and 5-8 cm wide. The distinctive colouring of the light leaf ribs is probably caused by a virus which prevents chlorophyll from being produced in the cells around the leaf ribs, making them white. However, this virus does not affect other plants in the aquarium.

Arrived in a really great condition has grown well in my tank and would recommend this plant to any new comers as it grows quickly and can be propagated easily.

Received the plant today and very happy indeed.

The plant arrived in a sturdy spacious box with soft paper used to prevent the plant from moving. The plant itself was carefully bagged and wrapped in bubble and showed no signs of being in transit.

The condition of the plant is superb, and when I unwrapped it, was clearly in excellent health with a lovely green colour, no damage or discolouration to any leaf and standing upright by itself comfortably with no clear signs of any issues.

Overall I am very happy with the purchase, AG is by far the best online UK vendor of aquatic plants, in my humble opinion.This is not the first or last time I will be buying from these guys. I think this purchase is the best yet, in terms of quality, and I can't recommend both the plant (which looks almost exactly as the photo online) and AG enough.

    I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected! They arrived in absolutely fantastic condition as if I had picked them out myself, well packaged.
