Bucephalandra Theia Green

In nature, Bucephalandra usually grows on rocks or wood in rivers and streams - much like Anubias, which they resemble regarding use and care in the aquarium.

The creeping stem, rhizome, must not be covered when planting. This will cause the plant to rot and die.

Area/height: Foreground up to 8cm
Light: medium - low
Temperature 20 - 28 C.
Growth: slow
pH: 5 - 8
Water hardness:    soft - medium
Co2: 0-20 mg/l
Propagation: rhizome cuttings

Nice little plant, great condition Verified Purchase

such a beauty

even for someone used to the colorful display and curious shapes of succulents, Tillandsia, and orchids, these Buces still dazzle. Very lush and healthy dark green leaves with elegant wavy curves. There are about 6 growth along the rhizome. Perching happily on my driftwood now, and I think the one with the longest rhizome is sending its roots to explore the new habitat already.

  • Quick service, fantastic plants

    I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected! They arrived in absolutely fantastic condition as if I had picked them out myself, well packaged. The plants themselves were bigger than what I expected to get so definitely value for money and the root systems were well established, can't wait to see them get bigger in my aquariums.
