Aponogeton Ulvaceus is a large bulb plant which makes the perfect centre piece in your planted aquarium. The leaves are translucent, bright green with a narrowed leaf base, and are typically 20-50 cm long
It is relatively undemanding, and makes no special demands on water quality. It will grow under low or high light and doesn't require much water movement. It is ideal for beginners!
Place in the background and it will soon root itself down and grow nicely.
Please note: This plant arrives as a bulb, very often with leaves already sprouting. It can grow much bigger very quickly! It's best planted as follows...
How to plant: Push the bulb gently into the substrate in your aquarium, with the bottom two thirds of the bulb in the substrate, and the top third sticking out. Your bulb will soon establish. We endeavour to send out our bulbs with new leaf growth, however this occasionally isnt possible.
