Product Description

Amblystegium serpens Tissue Culture

Amblystegium serpens, or creeping feather-moss. When submerged, it develops delicate upright stems. Best placed in the foreground and in nano tanks.

Amblystegium serpens, or creeping feather-moss, is distributed on the entire northern hemisphere, but is also found in South America, Australia and New Zealand. It prefers nutrient-rich locations with a basic pH, moderately dry to moist, sunny to shaded, on soil along roads and in gardens, under trees and bushes, and also on dead wood, bark and rocks. This small inconspicuous moss often accompanies other commonplace mosses like Brachythecium rutabulum.

In vitro plants are young plants that are produced in a laboratory. They are easy to use, extremely healthy and free from snails, algae, pesticides and other unwanted organisms. One in vitro cup equals to several traditionally grown pots so besides the health benefits they are also good value for money.

  • Best UK Aquascaping

Dave and the guys at Aquarium Gardens are without doubt the leaders in their field of Aquascaping. My wife and I have visited several times over the last couple of years and have always received fantastic advice and guidance. Two years ago we had one small tank, we now have three aquascapes all running CO2, this definitely wouldn’t be possible without all the support from the guys at Aquarium Gardens. Carry on doing what you’re doing because your business model is superb…..thanks once again Malcolm & Cheryl Orgill

  • Quick service, fantastic plants

I have ordered from Aquarium Gardens for the first time after seeing them on social media. Well what can I say except WOW, the plants were a really good price, they arrived on time actually quicker than I expected! They arrived in absolutely fantastic condition as if I had picked them out myself, well packaged. The plants themselves were bigger than what I expected to get so definitely value for money and the root systems were well established, can't wait to see them get bigger in my aquariums. Will definitely buy from this company again.
