Riccia Fluitans Tissue Culture - Hortilab
DescriptionRiccia Fluitans can be tricky to maintain when submerged, mainly because it always grows towards the surface and you often as it grows pieces floating up to the surface. It should be tied down to rock or mesh pads using fishing line and place in a well lit area. It is best grown with CO2 injection and will produce the much sought after oxygen bubble at the leaf tips, which is a wonderful effect. You can also use this as a floating plant as protection for your fish.
How to plant your tissue culture plants:
- Remove plant from packaging
- Rinse and wash away any gel/liquid
- Divide plant into 6-8 portions
